My Golden Retriever senior mix was not just recently not walking well nor could he get up onto my bed like always. It was late Saturday afternoon and my vet’s office was closed. So I drove to Acute Pet Urgent Care and we were greeted by very friendly staff members at the front desk. They got him registered and checked in with ease. They were busy with a critical animal so we did have to be patient. But they ran blood tests in order to be able to provide medication that he was likely going to need. Before Dr. Torres could examine my dog, we had to wait again but the staff provided both me and my dog with water and they even scavenged me some tasty snack crackers since it was dinner time and I hadn’t eaten. The staff kept checking on us and talking with me to pass the time. In retrospect, we really didn’t wait that long. By the way, the facility is very attractive, clean, and comfortable. After Dr. Torres examined my dog, he prepared several helpful informational documents for me that were both printed copies and digital copies. He then came in to talk with me, explain his diagnosis (in basic terms, my dog has what is similar to torn ACL in humans in both of his knees and arthritis in his knees and hips), suggest recommended treatments, and answer my questions. Like the other staff, the doctor was very friendly, helpful, and very supportive. I am very glad that Acute Pet Urgent Care was able to help my dog reduce his pain and make it much easier for him to move, walk, and function more normally. He has improved significantly. Thank you to the entire staff! Excellent urgent care for animals! I highly recommend Acute Pet Urgent Care.

Dr. Anastasio and care team provided excellent and compassionate care for my Siberian husky. They accurately diagnosed my little buddy and resolved the GI issue. Very knowledgeable and professional. I’m so grateful in how accommodating and compassionate Dr. DeLise and her staff were during our emergency visit. It was so difficult saying goodbye to our 16-year-old dog Gizmo. Dr. De Lise and the Staff at Acute Pet Urgent Care were very helpful and understanding at one of the most difficult times of our lives. They were so gentle and kind with Jackson, our 13 yr old Goldendoodle and even offered him Hersheys Kisses and a snack plate before his trip over The Rainbow Bridge. They were very patient with my daughters and I as they gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes and hug our sweet boy one last time.

We were unable to get in to see our regular veterinarian and our dog was miserable with skin issues. AcutePet’s staff took great care of him and us. We recommend them highly!
